You know, the concept of heart-break never really occurred to me as a real thing. It was just some silly thing people said when they were upset over the end of a relationship. . .
But heart-break is a very real thing. A very painful and devastating thing. It pulls at me and does horrific things inside my chest.
Over recent weeks I’ve put up with heart ache and palpitations severe enough to feel like my chest is being ripped open slowly and excruciatingly. They leave me breathless and aching. In agony I couldn’t have even dreamt up in one of my worst nightmares before you left me. &
